DLI to Offer Simplified, Universal Allied Trades Memberships

Suppliers, manufacturers can now join through unified plan

LAUREL, Md. — The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) will allow industry suppliers and manufacturers to join the organization and all seven of its affiliated U.S. associations with one discounted membership plan, the organization says.

Previously, companies were required to join each association separately to interact with affiliated local and regional associations.

“Simply put, this improvement to our Allied Trade Program is an absolute game changer,” says DLI Allied Trades Director Mark Albrecht. “Our allied trades members will be thrilled with the streamlined structure and additional national exposure that they may have not been able to take full advantage of in the past.”

In addition to discounted dues, these members will receive discounts on sponsorships, preferred advertising pricing and other opportunities to interact with DLI members.

“We all realize that without the support of the allied trades, neither DLI nor the regional associations could provide the education or networking opportunities that our members have come to expect and value,” says Mary Scalco, DLI’s CEO. “This is just a little way of saying ‘thank you’ for their support and that we appreciate everything the allied trades do for the industry.”
